Hello, welcome to my blog! I'm Melanie, homeschooling momma to 18yo Maria, 10yo Jack, 7yo Tess, and 5 yo Henry, and 3yo Mary Claire.

We homeschool using Mother of Divine Grace, a classical Catholic curriculum, and supplement with lots of other fun stuff when time and sanity allows. Maria just graduated from our homeschool and is leaving for college this fall, Jack is in 5th, and Tess is in 1st, and Henry is starting kinder. Mary Claire doodles in old workbooks, and sometimes new ones that don't belong to her. We juggle a variety of special needs in this house, and that is what led us to homeschooling to begin with. Maria is dyslexic. Jack was diagnosed with autism two years ago. These beautiful children constantly redefine my priorities on every level and I learn more from them than they will ever learn from me- humilty...patience...surrender to God's will...three things that have never been my strengths!
