Kain- Yeah, but now it's irritating.
Me- Yes, children are often irritating.
Kain- Aunt Mel!
Me- Sorry, Kain, I meant all the *other* children. Not you.
Kain- Oh. Ok.
Pause....
Kain- Aunt Mel?
Me- Yes, Kain?
Kain- You were being sarcastic just then, weren't you?
Me- Yep.

That's one of the benefits of homeschooling. You can do a much better job of teaching sarcasm at home than could even be done in school! Go Auntie Mel!
