I made it last year and we all liked it. When I made it last week, it came out terrible, but I used this homemade stock from my freezer that tasted like it was made from a smoked turkey we had a while back, lol....the soup tasted like smoke, and only smoke! I'm going to make it again on Friday with plain broth and see how it goes.melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06637174816423519588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32629830.post-62836888065482189892008-11-04T21:37:00.000-05:002008-11-04T21:37:00.000-05:00LOL about Smashing Pumpkin soup! What's that like...LOL about Smashing Pumpkin soup! What's that like? I made a pumpkin soup with pear and onion... it was good, but Caroline didn't like it. She does like a savory butternut squash soup that I make, oddly enough.

I like asperagus as as a side, and so do dh and Cecilia. Cauliflower with melted cheddar is good, and we do homemade mac and cheese a lot using a Rachel Ray recipe that's pretty easy (for homemade mac and cheese, that is).Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05029296444906951529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32629830.post-48722265668532313652008-11-03T20:49:00.000-05:002008-11-03T20:49:00.000-05:00When can I come for dinner??
